How to change fuel filter without losing prime ?

GypsyCliff Member Join Date: Nov 2012 Posts: 73	How to change fuel filter without losing prime ? I have a 1976 Newell with a Cummins diesel engine. The fuel filters are standard screw-on canister type. They are hanging above the level of the motor Is there any way to change them without losing the prime?
