Default Tag Axle Switch

My previous coach was a Bluebird and the tag was either up or dumped, a two position switch. My Newell has a three position switch. One gives me a warning bell so that must be dumped, what are the other two????

Thanks in advance for the help.

No idea which year coach you are asking about.

My 2001 has a three position switch, the center position is off, the other two positions are to add air pressure to reduce the weight on the drive axle or to reduce the weight on the tag to allow for a sharper turn. In a year, I have never set for anything except off, which is the center position. Once, I accidentally set the switch to dump the tag air and all of the rear air bags emptied and i skinned my coach. Hope this helps.

Thanks, helps flatten the learning curve! I will play with it in the parking lot at my office tomorrow.
