Windshield lock strip for 87 Newell
I am getting ready to replace both windshields in my coach, I purchased a seal from Newell but they are unable to supply the lock strip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian,
After sleeping on it. There are many many sources for the strip, including your local glass shop. Google windshield locking strip and you'll see what I mean.
The big thing is that you have to have that tool. HAVE TO HAVE IT. There is a picture of it on the link I sent you. It's made by Lisle. I bought mine from Amazon.com for less that 15 bucks. Amazingly, it's called..........Windshield locking strip tool.
Spray the strip and gasket with soapy water and slip it into place.

Richard,
Many thanks for your help, I am new to the Newell family and am really impressed by the help this forum and its menbers provide.
