folivier Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Thibodaux, LA Posts: 1,221	Dayton thermostat While we were at Desoto state park Cindy commented the cold water was pretty hot (anything to keep me from getting bored). The electric compartment heater over the water tank was running. It seems the Dayton thermostat shorted out, so I unwired it to get it to turn off. I just pulled it and am getting continuity at all temp. positions. So I guess I'll have to replace it.
