Default Texas inspections/Dallas area service recommendations

We need to get our NC inspected. Can this be done at a regular inspection site, or do we need to take it to someone who works with RVs? Also, any recommendations on service in the Dallas/Fort Worth area?

Thanks

I expect Richard to chime in since he is in your area. I have had mine inspected in Livingston, Kerrville and El Paso without any problems. I usually go to a full service garage that does inspections rather than a fast lube/inspection type facility.

I would call Ancira or Motorhome Specialist MHSRV.com about the inspection. They are next door to one another on I35 West just south of Fort Worth. Easy Access and away from the metroplex madness. There is a GREAT RV park just around the corner. http://www.rv-ranch.com/

I happen to own property in Montana ops: and that is where my rig is tagged. Montana doesn't require vehicle inspections.

What kind of service? Do you need something fixed? or just oil and lube? I may not be able to help you since all of my service recommendations is performed at Richard's garage. I will drink your beer and hand you wrenches if that will help Seriously, what kind of service, because I may recommend different places based on what you need.
