Default Airbag Solenoids

KimnKim,

The parts arrived and appear to have solved the problem. The coach is airing up and leveling within 1/8".

Each part worked out to $43 with shipping. Ordering more would probably bring down the per unit cost due to shipping. Had I known they were this price, I would have asked that all 12 be replaced.

While it is difficult to tell, I believe they were acquired from a company in Indiana called SMC. I did a google search on SMC solenoids and came up with this link:
http://www.smcusa.com/

The part number was VX 2110-02N-6G1-B.

My guy ordered thru Newell and I was pleasantly surprised when he did not add a markup.

Hope that helps.

Default Airbag Solenoids

All,

The rv repairman called to follow up on his work and in that conversation, he stated that Newell recommends that solenoids always be replaced in pairs. Replacing only 1 side will likely create a pressure imbalance that will take out the mate in short order.

Makes sense to me.
