Default Stairwell air slide cover

I have a 1991 Newell coach 255 and the entrance steps entering the coach has a carpeted slide that covers the stairs when used. It retracts under the floor and I was curious if anyone knows if this is air activated and motioned or electric or is it manuel? My past motorhomes had a air switch that slid the floor over the stairwell when you turned it on. I seem to be overlooking where that switch may be or is there even a switch to do this. At the time I must slide it over by hand which is no big deal but power would be nice. Thank you

On my '93 the switch is over the microwave and is called "step cover". It is air operated.

On my 88 there is also a switch on the end of the cabinet above the stairs that says step cover and it is air operated.

Nope guys can't find step cover switch just step which I believe is for outdoor entrance step but will keep looking. Hey I did find a switch over convection that just says selector. Does anyone know what this switch pertains to? Dont notice anything when switched and than red highlighted on switch. Thanks for replies though. Robert

If I remember correctly the selector switches between one of two household water pumps.

HoosierDaddy thanks for the reply. So that switch allows me to decide on which pump between the two will supply all water for whole coach? I seen the pump in my tank bay but was unaware there is a second? Would you might know where second pump would be located? Still trying to find stair well switch, it has resistance when I pull it to cover stairs leading me to believe it is air operated. Thanks again, Robert

My '93 has both pumps located beside each other.
My stairwell cover switch is on the panel above the microwave..It might be helpful if you could post a pic of your switch panel. Also there should be an air solenoid in the basement area near the stair that controls tha step cover...If you can find that you could trace the control wire from there to find the general area where the switch is located. If it is not there it may not have air actuation.
