Default Primus questions

The Primus baseboard heaters have always worked well in my 1991 (coach 279) until now. It doesnt get too cold here in Alabama so it doesnt come up very often. The electric heat is always enough. Last year I had all the hoses in the engine compartment replaced including the ones going to the Primus. Recently I turned it on and it would not work. On my front control, the light will come on briefly and then go out for several minutes. I checked the breakers and fuses and they are fine. Nothing tries to heat.
How do I make sure water is even in the Primus?? Where do I go from here? The manual says the flush the system every two years but doesnt mention how??
Ideas?

Thanks,
Jimmy

Jimmy I know this is kinda late reply but I do also have a Primus heat system and I found two resevoirs about a quart in size each for the two units. They are located above the radiator on the right side behind a locked door! Open the door and inside you will see the resevoirs with caps on top. Mines was 25% full so I added to about 75% flow with 50-50 water and antifreeze. I imagine as the fluid gets hot you will need room for expansion. Only found this because my rear 2490 Primus is acting up with wanting to stay on when it wants otherwise the red light in that triangle lights up meaning I have a problem of some sort i am trying to identify! Hope this might help. Rob

thanks. I stumbled across the 2 resovoirs With the system running, one resovoir and lines get hot but the other stays cold. Thats the one I was considering flushing. I dont think the water is circulating.
Also the red triangle light has never come on on either of my systems. The front lights up and acts like it's working but stays cold.
