Damage to Tire Sidewall

Jonesy Member Join Date: Oct 2012 Posts: 29	Damage to Tire Sidewall I need some advice from some of you more experienced folks. After pulling into my latest koa site I noticed I had a chunk missing from the sidewall of my passenger side rear outside tire. The area is about 2 inches in diameter and maybe a sixteenth of an inch deep. I have no idea when this occurred. To the best of my knowledge I did not hit anything but it sure looks like a section was carved out. Is this a SERIOUS injury to the tire? Am I looking at an imminent blowout when I get back on the road? or am I better off replacing that tire? Jonesy
