Hello everyone. Thank you for having me. I recently purchased a 2002 Newell and am extremely pleased with it's quality of construction and comfort. My wife and I have been looking for the perfect motorhome for several years now and finally found it. I hope everyone is having as much fun and care free traveling as we are. Have a wonderful and safe trip

Not at all. I purchased it at Motorhomes of Texas in Nacogdoches. Very nice people to deal with. Less than 100k miles and gen at 2100hrs. We love it. Very well taken care of.

Vince congratulations. That coach belonged to a very good friend of mine. It was a great coach and sad to see it gone!

Vince, welcome to the site and Newell family. It appears you picked up a gem of a coach. I really like that particular Newell and hopeful it is a delightful luxury home on wheels for you folks. Please share whenever you have time with the rest of us here and hopefully we can be helpful to you and your coach ownership.

I did not get the alarm key for the outside arming or the remote key fob if there is one. Do I just call Newell and have them produce them for me or does the previous owner still have them by chance?

To my knowledge I never saw him use a key fob remote.

Actually I didnt even know that was an option? My friends who have the bode entry door don't have them either.

Most Newell Owners did not realize that key fobs were an option to begin with. If your coach is equipped for that addition or you want to install it the model number I believe is RB-1704-RB and made by Essex but you would need to verify that with Newell of course & cost is 149.99.

We had a excellent totally uneventful trip. The coach performed perfectly. There is a learning curve as there are so many functions. After spending a month traveling, we found out how everything works. I will be building a warehouse for it and some of my toys. It will be climate controlled to keep my baby in excellent condition for years to come.

That is fantastic to hear Vince. Sounds like you and your wonderful Newell are a wonderful combo and I wish you folks the ultimate in adventurous splendor with this new endeavor. Please share anytime you can and would love to hear more about the climate controlled warehouse you end up building for her.

Thank you for the kind words. I have the plans and need to pick out colors for the sheet metal. I am going to match it to the Newell as best I can. I will post pictures of the building when it is complete.
