1331 6/17/2004 6:04:26 AM 6/20/2004 Doug86 Sharing Info with classic owners! I have an 86 that I have been thinking of putting Pergo type flooring in. I used it to build a bar recently and like the way that turned out. I also want to get rid of the twin bed setup and go to a queen, some other minor interior updates also. Still need to get setup so that I can run all 3 A/C's. The main breaker keeps tripping if I use the center air.

Booster is located on drivers side behind front wheel. I rebult the brake system on my 71 30'last fall. Your coach may have same equipment. 417-866-0261

1344 6/24/2004 6:12:00 AM 6/25/2004 Ray Ireton riflyer@aol.com New Tires As the wife and I are getting ready to by a new coach and I have experience as an aircraft Mechanic I am going to fill my tires with Nitrogen. This is common in the aircraft industrie. Reason's Nitrogen is inert doesn't oxodize rubber. Does not heat like air. Does not expand like air. It is used in all high weight high speed aircraft tires. I feel its the only way to the tires from decaying.

In these installations, a single monitor switches automatically to the appropriate side veiw when the directional signal is used, or the driver can manually select any camera to display on the monitor using a switch. At Newell, we accomodate a great many custom features on customer request. An in-dash installation of three monitors could be done, although it would probably involve compromises in terms of location, with issues including visability of the monitors and the need to find alternative locations for other displaced components requiring resolution. The 6-speed Allison World Transmission incorporates an electronic control module (computer) designed to interface with a modern diesel engine also equipped with electronic controls. Your 3208 Cat does not have electronic controls and therefore is not compatible with these new Allison transmissions. If your transmission is worn out or malfunctioning, we suggest you consider repair or overhaul by a qualified Allison facility, or replacing the transmission with a quality rebuilt non-electronic unit. The transmission capacity would not be the limiting factor for trailer towing. You should confirm and respect the capacity of the hitch. Many of the factory original hitches are rated at 5000 pounds, although upgrade hitches can be installed if desired. The limited power of the 3208 Cat engine would also be a consideration, as a heavy trailer would degrade the performance considerably, especially hill climbing,.

1349 6/28/2004 3:23:05 PM 6/29/2004 Bill Moore my magiccarpet @aol.com 1160 v8 cat diesel Need help. We are looking at a 1974 Newell with an 1160 V8 Cat, diesel engine. Need to know at what rpm to run at 65 miles an hour. Will 1160 pull most hills at 45 to 50? Also will it go as fast as 70 miles an hour? Will it tow a 3000# car at 60 or 65?

The driver's side has a small crack that I feel could "expand" with time. Any information as to what other vehicles this windshield would fit? What would be the most "cost effective" way to replace it?

The replacement cost is not excessive. 1981 through 1989 models use windshields from the Chevrolet Astro 95 large truck, and they are available from any Chevrolet dealer. Contact the Newell factory parts department for windshields for 1980 and older Newells.
