Engine Spruce up
hi all,
today after getting no where on a few other things, i decided to spruce up the engine compartment. i bought some detroit diesel series 60 blue paint at the detroit dealer, some gloss black enamel and i was off to the races. i know it will get dirty, but at least today it is clean.
i degreased the area, then masked off as much as i could stand, made some paint shields out of cardboard and started spraying. i did the blue first. then sprayed and handpainted the black, then went back and touched up the blue again.
then a little brasso on the chrome and i was done.
