6V92 Turbo Leaking Oil
Hello Forum,
My name is Ron and my Newell Coach has the 6V92T engine. Today I noticed the turbo is leaking oil, Question is Can the seal be replaced or do I need to purchase a rebuild?

replace it the center section is probably bad, also where is it leaking on the outside or inside ?

I decided to go ahead and replace the turbo so I called around for pricing and the lowest I could locate was 578.00. Is that in the right price bracket or does anyone know a source for a better deal?

That is a reasonable price UNLESS the leak is the oil line coming into the top of the top. Check that first. Hate to replace a turbo when tightening the oil line would solve the problem. If oil is coming out around the rear seal, then replacement isn't a bad idea.
