Las Vegas RV Parks Near to Strip
We'll be traveling to Las Vegas sometime next week and wondered if anyone has any good tips for camping somewhere not too far from the Strip, not outrageously expensive, safe, and friendly to Newells

Circus Circus used to have a RV park at the rear of the Casino. It was all on asphalt bus very nice.

Circus Circus is good because you can walk to most of the places and not have to move the coach or tow car.

Sams Town is not on the strip but they do have a shuttle also try AZ Charlies the bad thing about Circus Circus is they double your rates on the weekend now and charge 5 bucks extra if you want a tree or grass it is just another KOA now. FWIW Circus Circus is the only RV park on the strip.
PS the diner at Sam's has real ham and eggs no rubber ham there

Another vote for Sam's Town - it is always our first choice. They run a free bus from the casino that makes a loop downtown as well as to the strip. We've also stayed at Roadrunner, just west of Sam's Town but its not as nice. I've walked through Circus Circus and you couldn't pay me enough to get me to stay there. Just Saying!

if you want a place for boon docking close to the strip don't' forget the wild wild west truck stop on flamingo west. free free free hahahahaha they have a dump station thats' free too, (with fuel purchase). the casino there is a little cheesy (slightly dirty and small) but they have the best breakfast deal in town.

Sam's Town is down by Henderson and quite the distance to the strip. If you don't mind walking then like other posters have said, Circus Circus.
