No Leaks
After having experienced water leaks in other brands of RV's, I am very appreciative of the quality and effort that Newell takes to insure that water does not leak into the interior.
Anyone that has spent much time in Texas knows that violent weather and torrential downpours are a way of life here. Over the past 24 hours we had thunderstorms roll through the Dallas-Fort Worth area bringing flooding and rainfall amounts at rates up to several inches per hour. There is an old country saying 'We'll be there, the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise.' Well, the creek did rise. We are about 200 yards from Duck Creek in eastern Dallas County. The rains came down and we watched as the creek came up within to within a couple of feet of the RV sites at the edge of the RV park, covered the road to the west of the RV park and began to cover the Park entrance/exit. Fortunately, the water crested and began to recede as quickly as it had risen.
During these heavy rains, our Newell stayed dry with no signs of ANY water infiltration into the interior. Try that in most other brands of RV after 15 years and 140,000 miles. Thanks Newell!
