Default How many hours can we expect from our Generator?

The generator already has 1000 hours on it. We just had it serviced and oil changed. How many hours do you think we can get without looking at major overhaul vs. replacement? By the way, we have had no problems what so over with this unit.

Generally speaking about 9000 more! Yep, the generators Newell uses are continuous duty ones. As long as maintenance is performed regularly you should never wear it out.

Mine has almost 3800 hours and it runs like a youngster.

Hold it one minute! Michael are you speaking of a youngster or a young Irish-Wolfhound?? Just looking for clarity in the matter.

Okay great seems we won't have to worry about much for our duration of ownership when you figure I hardly use the generator.

Jerry a 1000 hours?! You're good to go for a long time! If fulltiming is almost at 3800 hours and it runs like a youngster then yours is just a baby! Mine is coming up to about 4600 hours. Haven't even gotten to the half way point and it's running like a pro!
