Default Tire Temperatures & Tire Pressure?

When I left Monday afternoon my pressure in the front tires were 110 in the shade and the temperature was 78 degrees. Running 65 mph and driving nearly 5 hours my pressure rose to 120L & 125 on the right front and the temp was 114 degrees. The right front was on the sunny side, the rear's temps were around 110 degrees. Is this considered normal?

A 10 to 15% psi increase is what I typically see. I think you're right on. You get about a 2% psi increase for every 10 deg of internal air temp.

Psi sounds good, Tires heat up under load, a trouble clue is when a tire is running much hotter, than the tire on the opposite side. Just touching with your hand or palm will warn of a tire running too hot.

One more reason why I like driving at night. Cooler tires, and less wind resistance, in a lot of cases, along with much less traffic.
