Default Replacement Diesel Engines Available for Your Coach

I have been on the hunt for different engines for transplants into a couple of different Newell's and have leads on some nice engines. Some Cummins and some Detroits. I have a couple of nice 11.1L and 12.7L Series 60 engines available in great condition and good miles. Anyone interested, contact me and I will be glad to help.

I also know of some two-strokers too.

How tough is it to replace the old 8V92 with series 60 ?? I have an 86 3axle 102", sat for a LONG time. Only has 129K, but I am planning long term.

Thx.

I would just have a Detroit Diesel dealer put in a re-manufactured 8V92. Basically a new engine and no major re-configuring to make it fit. Should be around 20K & have about 100k mile warranty. But, with proper maintenance your original 8V92 should easily make 500K before needing just possibly an in-frame overhaul. Max life should be around 1 million. If the original is running fine, why replace it?
