Bluebird to Newell
Hi all, My name is Lee Brown, my wife Patsy and I just purchased a 98 Newell, DS45L, #476. We have been RVing for many years, for the last 15 in bluebirds, this last winter confinced us that we needed slides, with BB out of business we decided to go with Newell, I'll most likley be asking many questions so please have patience with me, being a lifetime pilot I need to fully understand all systems, thanks

Welcome aboard.
We will be really interested in your candid comparison of BB engineering to Newell engineering. You'll find you are now amongst the gearheads now and we have inquiring minds.
I am particulary interested in also getting your seat of the pants driving impressions of the two chassis.

One of my best friends is currently a BlueBird owner (1984 1/2 36' with Tag). Welcome to our gang. Many here are BlueBird fans. We're not afraid to be seen in the same company with BlueBird's.....haha!

That is a very nice looking coach. My wife loves the leopard print! We just bought our coach in March so we are still learning too, but if there is something I can help you with feel free to ask. Our coaches should be similar. You will find the people on this forum to be very helpful.

Great coach Lee and Patsy. Welcome to our group. Great to have experienced RV owners that have had Blue Birds. Several of us looked at Wanderlodges prior to deciding on a Newell.
