Default Stainless step covers

Has anyone looked into these step covers? They are manufactured by Summit products. I think they would look really good, but didn't know if anyone had experience with them or not. I called Summit products and they said they run $109 a pair. If anyone wants to look at other pics or the price sheet, I can email it, the file is to large to upload.

I wonder if they would fit over my granite steps inside as an anti slip measure. Looks nice.

Tom,
Thanks for the heads up. I think they will look good on my outdoor steps and hold up well to those Key West winters

Got the step covers in and installed. Very happy with the way they turned out.

Tom & Julie,
Those look great! How do they fasten on? Is that a rubber grip pad on each step?

Steve,
They attach with 3m strips. If you go on YouTube, and type in summit products, there is a video showing the application. The pad on there is a rubber type pad. It is much better than the ruff sand paper type on the stairs now.

Installed my step covers today. The first set had to go back as they were the wrong width on the turned down portion. Company was very quick to admit the error and send a UPS pickup tag making the return easy for me. My bottom step was a bit malformed and I had to remove the single front adhesive strip to permit the install. One needs to just expose a small amount of the adhesive side of the black pad and carefully plan the placement because once it touches that beautiful stainless it wants to stay exactly there. The final product looks great. I hated to cover up all that shiny bling with the black cover, but of course you have to. One little note, they have changed from the black waffle pattern shown in some of their literature to a textured material without the grooves. They say the grooves collected water and the extra thickness causes closing problems on some customer steps.
