Default Can't get my transfer case in neutral

Sitting in the parking lot of Family Chevrolet in Laredo. Got ready to leave Zapata, Tx on Falcon Lake this morning, headed to Ft. Worth, and I couldn't get my pushbuttons on the dash to work on my 2004 Z71 to shift the transfer case to neutral. There are a lot of TSB's on the subject. The speedo also went to 45mph sitting still and 120 barley moving. I tried removing and replacing the 30amp TREC fuse under the hood to "wake up" the control unit to no avail, so I gave up. Cranked her up, put it in neutral, and drove 50 miles north to Laredo. There are two speed sensors and a wiring loom that may be corrupted so I'm awaiting my verdict.

My pushbutton unit in the left dash was bad and was replaced so now I can shift the tranfer case to neutral for towing. The speedo is an intermittent problem and was not related.

Thanks,
