recent purchaser of newell 09 #1272 RH "dickie" barker III & Charlene
charlene and i have been motorhoming since 1993. been thru a bunch of coaches and are very impressed with our newell. we also have a home in highlands, nc and look fwd to keeping the coach there and tripping this summer. we have grandchildren and the very well done bunk beds in this coach should give us the exra room and comfort needed for occasional guests.
i am a semi-retired(?) automobile dealer Charlene is a retired Para-legal and home-maker also teaches Yoga when the urge hits her. i look fwd to meeting and communicating with other Newell owners.
have a safe and fun ride!

Welcome aboard Dickie and Charlene.
Highlands is beautiful. I grew up just south of Highlands in Seneca.

Hi Dickie and Charlene,
Most summers will find me fairly close on a TVA lake near Knoxville. Maybe I can get over your way sometime and take a peek at your coach. In the meantime, glad you have joined the Newell virtual online family and I am sure I speak for many when I say, "If there are any questions or issues we all will do our best to offer suggestions and our experineces. Occasionally our suggestions are even correct.
Welcome,
Russ

Dickie & Charlene,
I met you at Newell when you were trading in your Foretravel. You also gave me a tour of your Newell & I can tell everyone it is a gorgeous coach! Welcome to the Newell family.

Dickie and Charlene......joining the NewellClassic website was one of the best decisions we made when we were still in the process of buying our '82 Newell, and you will find the same, and there is no doubt in my mind. The instantaneous support we received prior to completing our purchase convinced us we had made the right decision. As others will tell you, the side benefit of owning a Newell is all the new friendships you will form. Welcome to our virtual family!

Hi Dickie,
I also met you while you were at Newell. (I was the one with the motorcycle and dog). Your coach is probably the one coach I have seen that I would want to trade for. Absolutely stunning! Congrats on the coach and on joining the Newell family!
Cheers,
bill

Welcome to Dickie & Charlene,
Karen and I are looking forward to spending a few days with you in Highlands this summer.
I rode along on the "test" ride before Dickie purchased 1272. When we got back to the parking lot he said "I'm about 75% sure that I want to buy this one". The truth be known the grin on his face said it all; he was sold! What's not to like: 4 slides, turning tag axle, murphy bed, 72 projection TV, bunk beds, Allison transmission, this is really a nice Newell.
This one is a 10!

Hey Mr.Dickie, Matt Russo here. Welcome to the world of Newell! A couple (3) years ago I also retired from the glass stuff. Moved to Raceland. Thats when Tuga came with me to purchase our Newell. I post as Express1. This is the first summer we have stayed home this long. It is wonderful to have you as a member. Also Ronnie Cannon is a Newell owner. You may remember him as an owner of LCM. He keeps his coach here, and lives in Reno. I keep my coach in Reno and live here???? We just can't get it right...
Hope to see you on the road or rallies one day. If we can help with any question about your beautiful coach please post them here....
Happy Trails

Welcome to the life of Newell, Dickie and Charlene! Been a long time since we met at the auto auction. Glad you have landed a beautiful P2000i. I look forward to seeing your new coach and meeting again someday. Don't hesitate to call on any of us.
