Thumbs up Website & Forum Updates Underway

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that new forum and site updates are now underway. I'm sure you have noticed a couple new forums added to the site, Big Rig Friendly & Newell Coach Manuals and Datasheets. If you have any additional ideas for the forum please share them.

Erika,
I tried out both new sections and believe both will become two of the most valuable sections on the site. Thanks a bunch!!!!!!

You're welcome! and I also wanted to let you all know that a Service Center Forum is now up so that fellow newell owners can list repair shops equipped to work on all areas and aspects of our Newells while traveling if you're not near Miami, OK (Newell Coach)

Happy Traveling,

Erika

Erica:
Great work!
On the GMC motorhome forum a man named Roger Black came up with the idea for the Black List. It was GMC owners who were on a list that would help if you broke down nearby and stated what they could offer as to how far they would travel to come get you and whether they had 50 amp service etc. It was by state and even had a map with pins showing the locale. I kept a printed copy in my glovebox. I have now built a shop with three 50 amp plugs for travelers headed east or west on I-20 in NE/LA. I have the jack and jack stands to get a coach off the ground too.
Thanks,

Erika,
The forum is now better than it has ever been!

I do have one forum question. The ability to edit a post goes away after a short period. Not sure why it works this way. Many times it would be nice to edit a posting either as an update or a correction.

Hi Steve and Suzy,

I will check into it and see what I can do to change that.

Erika,
One more reason to be able to continually edit a post is it gives you the possibility to go back and add a photo if needed.

Hi Steve and Suzy,

I've adjusted the edit post time from 24 hours to 72 hours. A'so, remember you can always do a follow up post to share anything else you may have wanted to add.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. If you haven't already...be sure to check out the Homepage as you may find your coach has been featured in the new site design. Please Note: If you do not upload photos of your Newell to your personal gallery on the forum then we do not have the option to feature your coach. We also prefer that you upload high res. photos because when enlarging the photos it can distort them and we will not get as clear of a view and that makes it hard to use your photos.
