looking at 1991 38' newell, will 2 roof a/c's cool the coach
hi, i am looking at a 1991 38' newell. it has 2 roof top a/c's. i live in phoenix, so am very concerned if the 2 units will cool it ok. any one have any experience in using 2 roof airs in 110 degree weather? i mean while driving, not sitting....thanks

My current coach has 3 A/C's and it is more than enough and I have owned coaches not built as well as a Newell which cooled fairly well with two A/C's in the desert climate in 100+ weather.
Are we talking about dual 13,500 units or ?

I owned a 1979 Newell 38' with two roof airs and had no problem cooling the coach in high heat conditions.
If you ever have a need to put a hole through the roof or side of your Newell, you will quickly understand why two roof airs are sufficient. Oh, and by the way, you best use a long drill bit.
