Keep in mind that tax-friendly for retirees doesn't necessarily equate to best choice for an RVer domicile. There are other costs to consider beside taxes.

One thing to consider is that Nevada and Wyoming impose a "use" tax when you transfer a motorhome into their state. Texas does not. The "use" tax is a form of sales tax.
