Default How Critical is Propane Pressure

I have a propane pressure gauge that reads 12" WC. I don't know how accurate this gauge is. My question is what are the likely consequences if the pressure is actually 12" WC? What are the consequences of too low and too high line pressures? Is 12"WC too high? and what happens if it is too high or too low.

My propane appliances are; Range, Water heater, Fridge and 3 Propane Heaters
