Crockpot When Traveling

I really want to use my crockpot, but I want to do it while traveling so we have a decent meal when we stop......can I just plug it in and let it go? How do you cook while traveling? Thanks!Cliff

Be sure to put it in the sink, or tie it firmly down. Would be a heck of a mess during a panic stop!

I would rather make up a batch of my "Make Ahead Lasagna" or "Make Ahead Manicotti" and toss it into the oven for a hour after we get parked.

You can put together some great crockpot meals. Like Sean said put it in the sink to prevent accidents and messes.

I cook and eat things that are easy to make but on the healthier side. The crockpot is a good option but it could make you more hungry smelling the food cooking before you arrive and can actually eat. The bright side of traveling in the coach. Pull over and eat!

We do it all the time. If you put some "no skid" under it, it will not move. We use ours at least every other week on the road, and it is nice to get to our stop and have a nice meal ready.
