That '02 may need a new battery, they don't last forever. We have something very similar a Zappy3. It is a 3 wheeled electric scooter. I leave my seat off and it is fun to ride at a fraction of the cost. I found ours on craigslist an spent $250 for the first and $200 for the second, the first needed new batteries.
These are still hard to store. I take them apart (just 2 bolts) so that they fit into the bay. I am thinking of a rack if they stick around.
