New Newell owners
HI There,
We'd like to introduce ourselves.
We are first time Newell owners (and in fact, first time RV or coach owners). We bought Dave and Marjorie's Newell (#423) and for the moment have moved the unit to Edmonton, AB.
Alec comes from a very wide range of experiences. From living and working in Italy in the 80's and 90's in the computer business, to becoming a heavy haul truck driver until 2005, then building passive homes, and doing home renovations.
Sara used to be in graphic arts, then ran a bed and breakfast in BC, and became a full time pilot car driver for our trucking company. She is now following her artistic pursuits and oil painting mostly full time.
Joe (our Golden Retriever) spends most days sleeping, as most dogs do. Of course his excitement is centered around the dog park and dinner time.
Over the next little while we will be doing some more renovations to the coach, carrying on from where Dave and Marjorie left off.
Should be exciting. We're not sure where the adventure will take us, but that's the whole point of an adventure, isn't it.

Welcome Brisco,
You purchased a wonderful Coach. I know Dave and Marjorie's Newell Coach has been well cared for.
Please keep us updated on your travels!
Welcome to LCL,
Sean

Always interesting to know a little about peoples journey to this point.
Haven't heard the term passive homes before, can you enlighten me on what a passive home is?
Welcome to the group!

Hello all, my wife and I just purchased our first Newell coach, a 1995 Series 2000, Coach number 381. We bought it from a couple in Corvallis Oregon. My dad and I flew up there to look at it, buy it, and drive it home. We are excited to start traveling soon, with our 8 month old baby boy. I'am a Diesel mechanic by education and trade, a crane operator, a truck driver with a Class A CDL, and the Fleet Maintenance Manager for my dad's company. I look forward to meeting everyone and sharing tips and advice
