Tile Grout Cleaning
Hi there everyone,
We're wondering what we should use to clean the grout ?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Phil,
Hope your travels are going well. My opinion is take a trip down to home depot or lowes and buy some regular cleaner it should do the trick. 409 is a great cleaner for grout.

I use an old toothbrush and a bathroom cleaner with bleach in it. There are several brands, Tilex is pretty effective if you have good enough ventilation to work with it. What are you trying to clean off?

I've always used Simple Green to clean grout and it worked great.
Happy Travels!

I hadn't thought about simple green. Since I already have some I'll try it and post my results

You can also rent a professional grout machine at most hardware stores. It removes existing grout and replaces with new grout. Very reasonable and works great. Make sure that you measure the width of your grout line so that they can match up the proper machine head and contour angle. You should be able to rework most MH grout lines in one days rental
