Exclamation Birds Crappin on my mirrors !!!!!!! Suggestions??

we've started having birds land on the tops of our mirrors and make a mess while they are there !! I've tried covering the mirror with a plastic bag, they still land there anyway. Aside from the anti-pigeon spines I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Scott

Buy a plastic Owl, works great....scare birds away for sure! usually about 12 inches tall most hardware stores have them. Mount on a post or set it on top of the RV.

BB gun?
I would try Joseph's suggestion, plastic owl or snake wrapped around the mirror, or put a paper shopping bag over the mirrors and tape it on.

Get out the gun and have pigeon-stew instead of pigeon-poo!

You can also try placing rubber toy snakes on the ground around the area that your parked. (Just make sure you don't mistake a real one for one of your fakes, and tell the wife of your plans or she might kill you!) Have them in plain view. I would suggest picking up the colorful snakes that aren't realistic like pink, orange, blue they should work with the birds. I had this problem and then my brother told me he used them in his driveway to keep birds from pooping on his cars and RV. I tired it and it actually worked, birds are afraid of what they think will eat them. You can find these in a toy store, Walmart and even at some dollar stores. Good luck!

Bird bombs are the worst. I have heard they make some sort of reflective holographic bird tape that scares birds away when the light reflects off it.

Just leave it dirty, it's a proven fact that birds stay away from dirty coaches. I mean we all know it's only the clean ones they poop attack. haha... Just joking. It sounds like you've been given a few good ideas I hope one works.

I would post a sign on both mirrors that clearly states that no birds are allowed, apparently that is an effective form of gun control and should work for birds also.

These sad folks have been crapped on! Can you imagine a coach being fully pooed on like these vehicles? Now that would be quite the mess! Be glad it's only your mirrors.

Now that is pretty Keith. Is that what you call birdshot? We have to figure something out on the Newell or other coach mirrors.
